Rosé Wine – Monsaraz Rosé

Monsaraz Rosé
Now we’re talking. Both white and red Monsaraz is very popular with the locals and they have now added a delicious pink to their range. From the Alentejo, this rosé smells and tastes of strawberries and yet maintains a perfect dry finish. It is my current favourite barbeque wine and judging by how quickly stock of this seems to disappear from the few shops that sell it locally, I don’t think I am alone in my thinking. I strongly suggest any tourists reading this step away from the Mateus and treat themselves to this instead!
PRICE: c. €3 – Continente
MY VERDICT: 9/10
SECOND OPINION (The Wife): Delicious and with more to it that a lot of pink wine. 9/10
